Definitely a Five Star!

I like this book alot...It is not only the most graphically intense book I've ever seen on programming, but it is a pleasure to read and written right! It starts out with variable types supported on the ARM platform and also demonstrates how to align properly on byte boundaries to support compiler alignment efficiently. These are tidbits that I have not seen discussed inside many ARM books. I like the book structure and organization. The source can be found on their website. I liked this book so much I also downloaded on Kindle Fire HD, their assembly language book...That one has a few issues and it seems their Keil examples are a bit outdated, but the information is still valid! I shall do an review soon, but I strongly suggest this author updates their information. There are already a few examples on youtube on how to setup the startup files to work with Keil. I suggest this author follows these steps and updates their notes. Cannot run assembly code outside of a simulator without startup files. Keep up the great work on these series and if the future releases are this good, I will purchase them all...

Having little experience with microcontrollers and actually none with ARM - I decided to buy this book in order to painlessly dive in that field.
It was a good choice, it is thorough, but not overwhelming. Muhammad Ali Mazidi - the author of many widely renowned books concerning microcontrollers - guides the reader across all of the microcontroller's functions and peripherals with accompanying code listings. Instead of relying on Kinetis Processor Expert it gives a solid foundation of plain C coding allowing for better understanding of microcontroller's architecture and operation.
